Who Am I?
I am Lynne Maureen Hurdle, a communication expert and conflict resolution strategist, facilitator, speaker, and coach with over 35 years of experience in blending the connection between communication, conflict and culture into my unique style of engagement for leaders.

Prevention, Intervention and Transformational Conflict Resolution are

How will the one-to-one coaching work in The Leadership C.O.R.E. Program?
For the first month one-to-one coaching with me will take place at a conveniently scheduled time once a week. We will work on the areas of concern determined by the results of the Team Health Assessment for Leaders, discuss what your weekly worksheet revealed and go deep into your communication history and then learn and practice a new communication technique. In the next month, we go to bi-monthly one-to-one coaching, giving you enough time between sessions to apply the techniques and report back the results. During the last month, we discuss the results, become more grounded in techniques and discuss next steps for keeping momentum.

What do you mean by the term "brand family?"
Many brands have "people who work for them," others have teams, but a brand family is different. A brand family understands how the mission, reputation and relationships contribute to the success of the brand. Each member of the brand family knows and feels their importance to the brand and is part of a family that knows who they are, cares about them as a person inside and outside of their work and is committed to their success alongside the success of the brand. I started out in the theater world where I participated both onstage and backstage. The best experiences I had were the ones where I knew that the sound effects I was responsible for were as important as the lead actress' monologue. Every role worked together to make a successful production and so it is with a brand family. Every person knows that it all works well because of them, no matter their role.

Why is it important to learn to respond rather than react?
When we react, we are letting our feelings dictate our words and actions. Reactions come from being triggered. Our triggers are deeply rooted and seldom go off because of what is presently happening. We get triggered because of something that has happened to us in the past and has remained unresolved for us. When I take you through my method of uncovering and getting to the roots of what triggers you, then I can help you begin to stop reacting and start responding. Responding means that you are able to manage the emotions that come with being triggered, release them and make good decisions about the situation you are faced with. Responding means you are in control, not your feelings.

What is the Leadership C.O.R.E.'s Team Health Assessment for the Team and how will we work with it?
The Team Health Assessment for the Team is the comprehensive assessment that I give to your team members to assess the team in the same areas that are in the Leader Assessment including leadership. We are able to work on just your Leadership Assessment alone to strengthen your C.O.R.E. or I can administer the Team Assessment to each of your team members and work with you and them to address the diagnosed problem areas.
